HBGA Orlando is the Official International Junior Academy of the Maple Leaf Junior Tour (MJT) and Henry Brunton’s world-class residential junior golf academy for serious athletes committed to developing, competing, and preparing for NCAA golf. Located at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links from October 15- April 20, the academy offers full-time residential training, customized training blocks, and seasonal specialty camps. Commuter athletes are welcome.

A Collaborative Development Model

We work in partnership with each athlete’s home coach

HBGA Orlando operates in alignment with each athlete’s home coach to ensure clarity, consistency, and unified long-term development. All communication, feedback and video reviews are delivered through CoachNow, giving parents and home coaches full visibility into training, progress, and daily habits.

A Premium Residential Experience

A safe, structured, first-class home environment for committed junior golfers

Athletes live with Coach Henry and Coach Rhonda in the HBGA Golf House, a beautiful fully-appointed 4500 square foot home in Lake Nona, Florida. The environment is safe, structured, and first class in every respect – providing a supportive high-performance residential environment with 24/7 supervision, guidance and care. Chef Rhonda prepares exceptional meals and thoughtful touches that elevate the athletes’ experience.

Athletes receive daily coaching from Henry Brunton and Dean Hartman, develop competition skills and on‑course performance habits, train applied mental‑game skills, and compete in elite junior tournaments across Florida. The program integrates:

Proven NCAA Pathway

94% of long-term athletes advance to college golf

Built on the same long‑term development principles Henry has used to help 250+ athletes advance to NCAA golf, HBGA Orlando is ideal for boys and girls serious about long‑term growth — including gap‑year athletes preparing for recruitment and college advancement. Enrollment is limited to ensure exceptional coaching and individualized attention.

A Day in The Life at the Florida Academy

8 AM- Breakfast

8:30 AM- Team Meeting- daily goals, training plan, mindset focus, and performance concepts

9 AM- Noon- Three immersive coaching stations- full-swing, putting and short game

12:30 – Play eighteen holes at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links- on course play and training- transfer skills to the competitive environment- mental game and course management skills taught and reinforced

5:30 – Chef Rhonda, PGA’s dinner followed by evening study, recovery, and personal time.

11 PM- Lights out

Facilities and Coaching

Training take place daily at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links, a championship 27-hole facility with expansive practice areas, an exclusive academy grass practice tee, and an outstanding short – game complex.

Academy Athletes are full members during the time that they are in the program, enjoying full playing and training privileges- unlimited access.

Coaching is led by Henry Brunton, PGA Master Professional and PGA Hall of Fame Coach , supported by Dean Hartman, PGA- a highly experienced senior coach. Together, they deliver a structured world-class development environment built on care, professionalism, and high-performance standards.

Competition and Academic Support

Athletes compete in tournaments based on readiness and NCAA pathway goals, including select events in Central Florida on the Hurricane Tour and Top 50 Tour.  

Academic support includes online learning options with structured routines that ensure progress, balance, and accountability- aligned with NCAA academic expectations.

Blueprint Integration

Blueprint ™ – Road to the NCAA Leadership Program tm – integrates seamlessly  with the HBGA Orlando High-Performance Academy , providing readiness scoring, long-term development plans, leadership training, and parent/home coach communication through CoachNow. Every athlete follows a clear, personalized plan built for sustained growth, NCAA preparation, and recruitment.

Enrollment

HBGA Orlando operates October 20- April 20. Enrollment is extremely limited to preserve quality, exclusivity, and individualized attention. Qualified applicants are invited to a Zoom meeting with Coach Henry to discuss goals, fit, and readiness.

Customized Training Blocks & Specialty Camps

Athletes may enroll full-time or in customized training blocks. Seasonal specialty camps are also available, including Thanksgiving, Holiday, Spring Break, and Easter camps.
